Description
Interview of Moe on Thanksgiving Day in Greensboro, Georgia… When I was a kitten, I was put into a box with my siblings and left on the side of the road, in a puddle of water. I barely clung to life and only one other sibling was still alive when some very nice people found us. They brought me to Morgan and she took great care of me. When I was still young I decided to have a little fun and jumped off the counter top onto Daisy (a Chihuahua), causing paralysis (temporary). While Daisy was recuperating I was sent off to Aunt Ashlee. Then I ate a toy I shouldn’t have and needed stomach surgery. So I was handed off again to my new mom in Greensboro and so far, no disasters and everyone is happy. My current home has a dog named Bella, she’s tougher than a Chihuahua but I know better than to jump her back now. Besides, I’m getting to be senior at 13 years, don’t know what that is in human years. You took that photo of me to paint as I was focused on the turkey on the table that I’m not supposed get on.
This 11” X 15” watercolor was done on Arches, 140 lb., rough paper.
