My watercolor painting of the Folsom Ice Rink in the early evening on Christmas Eve. The challenge for me was to capture the complex lighting and shadows for a night scene in watercolor. The ice rink is closed and removal begins in late January.
This 15” X 22” watercolor was done on Arches, 140 lb, rough paper.
