Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This is my watercolor painting of the Ice House Bridge, built in 1925, which was originally located on lower Vernon Street where it allowed employees of the Pacific Fruit Express Ice Plant to cross over the tracks on their way to work. Across this footbridge situated high above Roseville's Southern Pacific Railroad yards passed untold thousands of Pacific Fruit Express employees on their way to work at the world's largest artificial ice plant. In disuse since 1974 when the giant plant was razed, this local landmark was moved in 1986 for use as a public footbridge across Dry Creek into Royer Park. Created in 1917, Royer Park is Roseville's first major park. The bridge was moved again last year to accommodate other recent developments including two new bridges crossing Dry Creek to Royer Park and was rededicated in 2019.

My search to find my biological family was the genesis of my journey into the world of art. When I finally found my birth family, at the age of 40, I was plunged into a new and very different family. On one occasion while talking with the father I had never known, I discovered that my great uncle was the renowned watercolorist Dong Kingman. Fatefully discovering a cheap watercolor paint set, and intrigued by my relationship with Kingman, I wondered if I had inherited any of his talent.
