Description
In December 2015, an artist friend, Jeanette Smart, invited me for a short day trip up to Truckee to see the snow near Donner Lake. Her husky, Lakota, loves the snow. I wanted to get some snow photos so I tagged along. Watching Lakota play and roll around in the snow, you know that breed thrives in the cold. This painting was done in transparent watercolor.
