Challenge your brain with a jigsaw puzzle designed by an independent artist!   Our puzzles are made from premium 0.2" thick paper stock and include a semi-gloss coating on the top surface to make the image pop.   Puzzles are available in two different sizes, and each puzzle includes a puzzle box with the artwork printed on the top for safe storage when you're not puzzling.   The puzzle pieces are unique shapes.

Artist's Description

The Rocklin Fine Arts made an urban sketching trek to the Crocker Museum. The complex is combination of the original 1872 mansion on the east side at 3rd and O streets and a modern three story structure to the west in Sacramento, California. I took photos of picturesque mansion exterior and Palms to paint later at home. Inside the museum we were only allowed to use a pencil and paper. Watercolor is definitely out.

Judge Edwin B. Crocker, was appointed Associate Justice for the Supreme Court for the state of California in 1862. After retirement, he commissioned local architect Seth Babson to renovate the home into a grander, Italianate mansion that was completed in 1872. In addition, Crocker asked Babson to design an elaborate gallery building adjacent to the mansion to display the family's growing art collection. E. B. Crocker Art Gallery, founded in 1885 by his widow, Margaret Crocker, is the oldest art museum west of the Mississippi River. Located in Sacramento, Calif...

My search to find my biological family was the genesis of my journey into the world of art. When I finally found my birth family, at the age of 40, I was plunged into a new and very different family. On one occasion while talking with the father I had never known, I discovered that my great uncle was the renowned watercolorist Dong Kingman. Fatefully discovering a cheap watercolor paint set, and intrigued by my relationship with Kingman, I wondered if I had inherited any of his talent. This lingering question spurred me into trying to paint. My first challenge was deciding what subjects I would paint.
