The present Funeral chapel at 103 Lincoln Street was built in the 1932 in the heart of the Great Depression. The chapel is of Spanish style, having a tile roof and arched entrance way and windows. The walkway to the front entrance is lined with roses in keeping with its former name, Chapel of the Roses. Funeral Director, Douglas Wagemann has acquired Roseville’s oldest continuously operating funeral home from Carriage Services in Houston, TX. Prior to early June 2013 it was known as Cochrane's Chapel of the Roses, now it is Cochrane & Wagemann, Funeral Directors.
