Our premium yoga mats are 24" wide x 72" tall x 0.25" thick and made from natural rubber with a blended microfiber top surface. The top of the mat has the image printed on it, and the back is solid black with textured dimples for better floor grip.

This is unlike anything I painted before so it needs some explanation. I kept a sheet near my art table that I would sometimes doodle on randomly while working on another painting. Eventually I filled up the sheet with this watercolor and ink doodle. There is no special meaning behind the images. They are only random thoughts that came to mind over many months. Since the Western Fence Lizard is prominent, I named it Lizard Doodle.
Watercolor and ink (mixed media) painting was done on an 12" X 16", cold press, 140 lb watercolor paper.
My search to find my biological family was the genesis of my journey into the world of art. When I finally found my birth family, at the age of 40, I was plunged into a new and very different family. On one occasion while talking with the father I had never known, I discovered that my great uncle was the renowned watercolorist Dong Kingman. Fatefully discovering a cheap watercolor paint set, and intrigued by my relationship with Kingman, I wondered if I had inherited any of his talent. This lingering question spurred me into trying to paint. My first challenge was deciding what subjects I would paint.
